Do recommend for a momentary visit
Exceptional staff, exceptional facilities, particularly noted for the included spa treatments and the delightful atmosphere enhanced by the 'Bridgeton' style music throughout the hotel.
Nothing it was perfect.

The reception staff and porter were personable, assisting us with parking details. The spa facilities provided a rejuvenating experience, perfect for family relaxation.
Breakfast service was a bit slow, which impacted our morning plans slightly.

Couples looking for relaxation
Absolutely loved the spa facilities. You get everything you could hope for without dropping extra cash and the breakfast was decent, although they could’ve paid a bit more attention to us as we were waiting on our tea. It was all in the details, I mean, who doesn't appreciate a comfy room with original features? Makes you feel fancy.
Not exactly wallet-friendly, but still manageable.

Idyllic Spa Facilities, Stunning Georgian Architecture, Engaging Afternoon Tea
The signage around the hotel is baffling!!! It’s like a maze, making simple navigation a real challenge!!! consider improving the menu variety at the bar. It’s disappointingly limited!!!

Epic spa day vibes, despite alarms!
Had a lovely stay with a stunning spa area and great breakfast options. Just wish I didn’t get blasted by the fire alarms multiple times! Really dampened the relaxing vibe I was hoping for. Wine at the bar was nice, tho. The outdoor pool looked fab, too!

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
Enjoyed a relaxing night in a beautifully decorated room. The spa facilities were rewarding, but a clearer layout would enhance the experience. Breakfast was decent, though staff presence could improve. Tip, Visit the bar during quieter hours for better service.

Just a nice choice for a weekend adventure in Buxton, good value considering the price charged. The meal when we arrived was memorable, starting with Laurent Perrier! It's helpful to check the breakfast setup before sitting down to avoid confusion.

The spa facilities were definitely the highlight of my stay, with a lovely outdoor pool and a variety of sauna options that were very relaxing. Unfortunately, the room felt a bit cramped for two adults, and the breakfast didn't live up to my expectations, as there were items missing and it felt more like a standard diner. Still, the location was convenient for exploring local attractions, making it a reasonable choice for a short getaway. it was an enjoyable experience, but there are some room for improvements.
